🎅 This is a Christmas-themed emoji-based incremental game with a 5 minute time limit. ⏲️
The mechanics of incremental games appeal to me very much: I like building things that start running themselves,
improving themselves, etc. (hence the generative VCV modules 😉) but I dislike playing most incrementals because they take too long, they don't
have a clear end goal, and they don't provide any tension. Life is too short for them. 😭
Unlike other incrementals out there, the decisions you make in this game may mean the difference between winning and losing.
Furthermore, nothing in this incremental is too finely balanced, so you get to work out slightly "overpowered" combinations and have fun with them. There is no "prestige" system, but you will nonetheless improve each time you replay as you better understand the game.
There's also a ton of secret "upgrades" to find. Everything is deterministic, nothing is randomised, so its cool to speedrun this or whatever. If you want an extra hard challenge, it is possible to complete this in under 4 minutes; my best time so far is 3m58s.
over a very short period of time. I was too lazy to even learn the language tbh. 😎
